About the event
Under-appreciated. Underpaid. Overworked.
Disrespected. And completely burnt out.
This isn't what you expected from your career as an educator.
Some days (more than not) you think about leaving.
But what would you do instead? Where would you go next?
Who are you if you're not an educator?
You feel incredibly stuck.
You're angry and sad at the idea of leaving.
Your body is tired, worn, and dysregulated.
Whether you chose to stay in your job or move on to something new,
one thing is for certain: something needs to change.
If you're a burnt out, educator feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place,
Stuck In Ed is the support group for you.
In this 10 week support group you will explore your emotions, learn effective coping skills, develop your identity, strengthen your mind-body connection & find healing and hope in your next season.
You'll find empowerment, healing, and community alongside others who understand.
Whether un-stuck means finding a new way to approach your current job, or taking the leap to leave education altogether, you'll come away with concrete ideas of how to personally live an occupational life that is aligned with your values and worth.
10 weeks of in-person support group
Wednesdays starting May 4th at 6:00 - 7:00 PM
$50 per person per session.

ABOUT YOUR THERAPIST:
Kelsee Keitel, MS ED, LMHCA, NCC, CFLEP
Kelsee is owner and therapist at Hemlock Counseling Services. She's a former educator who left her school counseling job in 2021.
While doing her dream-work now, the transition out of education (and the decision to do so) was filled with a range of emotions, including deep grief, and a terrifying-yet-empowering exploration of her identity.
She knows (in her own flavor) what it is like to consider leaving a job and students you love so much, as well as the internal and external challenges of being stuck in a toxic job. She knows what it's like to take matters into your own hands and do everything in your power to make a work environment the most enjoyable. She's been there. She's done it.
You aren't alone on this journey.
You're invited to Stuck In Ed. Join other former educators who are wrestling with life in the school system. Over 10 weeks (10, 60-minute sessions), we'll explore emotions, learn effective coping skills, develop your identity, strengthen your mind-body connection, and find hope in your next, un-stuck season.
Many educators, will not take the first step of putting their own needs first. This group is another step towards investing in yourself. YOU are worth it.
